Peggy Burns, LCADC Mrs. Burns is a board certified and licensed addiction specialist. She has 24 years experience as counselor and has been with the Employee Assistance Program since 1997. Ms Burns also has extensive experience assisting clients with issues pertaining to communication, grief, anger management and relationship issues. Cheryl Confer, MS, CEAP Ms. Confer is a professional counselor and Certified Employee Assistance Professional with over 15 years experience in EAP counseling and management. She has extensive experience in addictions, grief, stress management, work/life balance and personal growth. |

Jan Buxton, MS Jan Buxton is a Licensed Clinical Counselor and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional with twenty years of experience in the Employee Assistance field. Prior to coming to the University of Maryland EAP, Jan was the EAP Program Coordinator at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. While at Goddard, Jan provided clinical services to employees and family members. In addition she provided management consultations, trainings and Critical Incident Stress Debriefings. |
